Why Windows 8 Is Handicapped Without Live I.D?

on Tuesday 20 November 2012
Microsoft launched its new operating system Windows 8 this October. After XP ,Windows 7 was the
big hit of Microsoft. But after the release of Windows 8 all I can say is this that Windows 7 was not the end of the road for Microsoft. The whole new Start Screen is the main attraction. But there is a lot more of Windows 8 which you can love or hate. The fast boot system and syncing ability with other gadgets with Windows Id. Its all remarkable.

The app store and the amazing apps which you can download from app store all are just amazing. The

other amazing feature of Windows 8 is the picture password and the lock screen with any picture of your choice. But Windows 8 is not all good.Windows 8 also have some huge drawbacks. First of all you can only use your live ID to sign in to windows(not any other ID can be used to sign in. You will then have to make a local account which will not sync on other devices). Nothing sync's when you choose a local account. You can't activate windows when not connected with internet. It ask you to activate through phone. Then you have to call to Microsoft and enter the digits according to alphabets. Its a quite complicated and time consuming method for activation. Without  a live ID you can't even download apps from store. I mean why can't a G mail ID be used to download content. The same goes with any other app which comes pr-installed. Microsoft assumed that every person has a internet connection. That's why it made a windows much relied on internet. Most of the apps have a sign in function.
I personally get annoyed whenever my connection is not working and then I get bored..Anyone who don't have a live account will have to make one. Well Microsoft found a way to convince more people to make a live ID. If you are planing to purchase Windows 8 make a live ID first. And make sure you have a good internet connection. Otherwise Windows 8 will not give you everything at once and things will not be that fast and fluid.
